OSF HealthCare seeks a Cardiac Sonographer I to perform and record Echocardiology diagnostic tests under supervision, obtaining information about normal and abnormal anatomy to aid diagnosis. Exams must be of acceptable quality and results documented; care aligns with patient age appropriate needs.

Required qualifications include an allied health associate or bachelor’s degree, completion of an accredited sonographer program, and ARDMS/CCI certification within two years.

Qualifications

• Associate in allied health or bachelor's degree in any major or program related to sonography.
• Completion of an Accredited Sonographer Program or ARDMS/CCI eligibility within two years.

Responsabilités

• Perfoms and records Echocardiology diagnostic tests under supervision.
• Obtains information about normal and abnormal anatomy to diagnose disease.
• Ensures echocardiogram exams are of acceptable quality and records results.
• Provides patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
