Job summary

Atrius Health in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform comprehensive adult echocardiography including stress tests and contrast studies. You will acquire high-quality images and clinical data for cardiologists’ interpretation.

Ideal candidates hold RDCS and BLS, with ACLS depending on specialty, and must work independently with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
• RDCS certification.
• BLS certification.
• ACLS may be required based on specialty.
• CEU documentation required for certification.
• Demonstrated ability to independently perform tests.
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal, organizational, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough adult M-Mode, 2D, Doppler, and color Doppler cardiac ultrasound examinations.
• Conduct stress echocardiograms, dobutamine echocardiograms, contrast studies, and ultrasound-guided procedures.
• Independently operate ultrasound equipment to capture diagnostic images of the heart.
• Recognize and interpret normal variations and pathological patterns in cardiac images.
• Complete calculations from M-Mode, 2D, and Doppler recordings.
• Confirm clinical information and obtain patient histories to support accurate imaging.
