Job summary

The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join our elite cardiac team. As an Ultrasound Tech you will perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients from fetal to adulthood with general or complex cardiac conditions, including ACHD, in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

This full-time role offers a day shift from 8:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekend coverage (8:00am – 12:00pm).

Qualifications

• Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) – accredited Diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) required.
• RVT preferred; hospital-based experience desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients from fetal through adulthood with cardiac conditions.
• Work in inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Travel to multiple locations as part of the cardiac team.

We Are Searching For a Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist To Join Our Elite Cardiac Team. As An Ultrasound Tech You Will

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients (fetal through adulthood) with general or complex cardiac conditions including Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD)
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Travel to eight (8) locations – Baltimore, Annapolis, Towson (GBMC), Westminster, Columbia, Frederick, Water's Edge, Hagerstown, and Bethesda

Minimum Qualifications

• Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) -- accredited Diagnostic ultrasound program
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiac Credentialling International (CCI)
• Registered Vascular Technology (RVT) preferred
• Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital based environment or additional experience as a vascular technologist is desireable

Shift

Full Time (40 hours)

8:00am – 4:30pm

Monday – Friday

Rotating Saturday and Sunday coverage (8:00am – 12:00pm)

Salary Range: Minimum 39.56/hour - Maximum 65.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
