The Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join the Johns Hopkins Children’s Center cardiac team. You will perform diagnostic ultrasound studies from fetal to adult patients with a range of congenital and acquired heart conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, collaborating with clinicians, and traveling to multiple Hopkins locations to support pediatric and congenital heart services.

Competenze

• Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited diagnostic ultrasound program.
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by CCI.
• Vascular Technologist experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients (fetal through adulthood) with general or complex cardiac conditions including ACHD.
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings.

Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Pediatric and Congenital Heart Center treats all cardiology conditions from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood. We provide the most advanced cardiology care for adults and children with general or complex cardiac conditions.

We are searching for a Pediatric Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist to join our elite cardiac team. As an Ultrasound Tech you will:

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures on patients (fetal through adulthood) with general or complex cardiac conditions including Adult Congenital Heart Disease (ACHD)
• Work in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Travel to eight (8) locations – Baltimore, Annapolis, Towson (GBMC), Westminster, Columbia, Frederick, Water's Edge, Hagerstown, and Bethesda

Minimum Qualifications:

• Completion of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Program (CAAHEP) -- accredited Diagnostic ultrasound program
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) OR Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiac Credentialling International (CCI)
• Registered Vascular Technology (RVT) preferred
• Experience as a Cardiac Sonographer in a hospital based environment or additional experience as a vascular technologist is desireable

Shift:

Full Time (40 hours)

8:00am – 4:30pm

Monday – Friday

Rotating Saturday and Sunday coverage (8:00am – 12:00pm)

Salary Range:

Minimum 39.56/hour - Maximum 65.34/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
