North Memorial Health is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to join the Accredited Echo Lab. You will perform comprehensive ultrasound studies and assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiograms, serving in outpatient and inpatient settings with after-hours coverage.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in echocardiography, RDCS or RCS certification (registry eligible considered), and BLS. Prior 1 year of experience is preferred in a busy lab.

Formación

• Graduate with an associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited echocardiography program.
• Registered as a cardiac sonographer- RDCS or RCS.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience: at least 1 year preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams including 2D, 3D, spectral Doppler, and tissue Doppler imaging.
• Assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiograms when needed.
• Work in outpatient, inpatient, and off-campus sites with hospital coverage on-call after hours, weekends and holidays.
• Maintain aseptic technique and safety in the echo lab.
