Job summary

MaineMedical Center, part of MaineHealth, is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer II for a full-time or part-time day shift. You will perform moderate complexity exams with independent judgment and recognize abnormal findings.

Requirements include ARDMS/CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography, BLS or certification within 30 days, a graduate of an approved Sonography program, and at least one year of cardiac ultrasound experience, including TEE/stress echo.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience as a Cardiac Sonographer.
• ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required. BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience required.
• Performs TEE and/or stress Echocardiograms.
