Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Cardiac Sonographer II at Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, ME for a full‑time day shift position. The successful candidate will perform moderate complexity echocardiography studies, use independent judgment, and recognize abnormal findings.

ARDMS or CCI certification and BLS are required, with at least one year of cardiac ultrasound experience. Te​E and/or stress echocardiograms may be performed.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent.
• License/Certifications: ARDMS or CCI in Cardiac Sonography; BLS certification.
• Experience: Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience.
• Additional Skills: Performs TEE and/or stress echocardiograms.

Responsibilities

• Performs moderate complexity exams and procedures with independent judgement.
• Recognizes abnormal findings during imaging and reporting.
• Performs TEE and/or stress echocardiograms as needed.
