Job summary

MaineHealth seeks a Cardiac Sonographer II at the Scarborough Campus to perform transthoracic and stress echocardiograms with compassionate patient care, independent judgment, and attention to abnormal findings. Requires graduation from an approved School of Sonography and ARDMS or CCI certification; BLS is required or obtained within 30 days.

This outpatient role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus for eligible hires, a 38-hour workweek with 4 days, no nights or weekends, and strong opportunities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved School of Sonography or equivalent experience.
• ARDMS or CCI certification in Cardiac Sonography required; BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Minimum one year of Cardiac ultrasound experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic echocardiograms and stress echocardiograms.
• Provide accurate image acquisition and documentation with independent judgement.
• Recognize and report abnormal findings; contribute to patient care and team collaboration.
