Job summary

UCHealth University of Colorado Health in Longmont, CO is seeking an Echocardiography Technologist to perform echocardiograms and assess cardiac hemodynamics under established standards.

The role is full-time, onsite, with a flex shift and hourly pay ranging from $42.01 to $58.82, depending on experience. Requires RDCS/RC S or equivalent certification and BLS, with 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program or allied health degree.
• RDCS or RCS certification required.
• BLS certification required; CPR card valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patient about the procedure.
• Independently perform echocardiography procedures using appropriate transducers.
• Select exposure factors and imaging parameters; administer contrast if indicated.
• Monitor patient condition and report changes; ensure quality control.

Education

Graduate of an accredited Cardiac Sonography program OR Associate’s degree in allied health OR a Bachelor’s degree in any area.

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) by ARDMS, or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).

BLS Healthcare Provider certification (American Heart Association) or CPR card.
