Job summary

Intermountain Health seeks a Cardiac Sonographer I/II to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes and transesophageal echocardiograms as ordered by physicians. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered to support transition into our organization.

The role is full-time (40 hours) with 10-hour shifts, involving rotating after-hours and weekend stand-by. Unit location is St. James Hospital in Colorado Springs; review qualifications before applying.

Qualifications

• Education program completion through an accredited facility or combination of education and experience.
• RDMS or ARDMS registration required; BLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, stress echoes and TEE procedures as ordered by physicians.
• Read, interpret and document results; communicate findings.
• Maintain readiness for after-hours and weekend stand-by as part of rotation.
