Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs as ordered by physicians at St. James Hospital. This full-time role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus where applicable and involves 10-hour shifts with after-hours and weekend standby.

Qualifications include ARDMS/RCS, BLS within 3 months, and completion of an accredited cardiac sonography education program. Cardiac Sonographer II experience preferred in advanced ultrasound modalities.

Qualifications

• Completion of an education program through an accredited facility.
• ARDMS or RCS certification required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
• Apply concepts of algebra and geometry.
• Solve practical problems and interpret instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
