Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer at St. James Hospital to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs as ordered by physicians.

This is a full-time role at 40 hours with 10-hour shifts, rotating after-hours and weekend standby; sign-on bonus up to $10,000 may be offered.

RDMS or RCS certification is required; BLS within 3 months of hire. Prior ultrasound experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Completion of an education program through an accredited facility; or combination of education and experience.
• RDMS or RCS required. BLS required within 3 months of hire
• Recommend experience in abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, vascular and interventional ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs ordered by physicians.
• Rotate after-hours and weekend standby as part of a full-time schedule.
• Maintain ARDMS or RCS certification; ensure BLS within required timeframe.
