Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. at St. James Hospital seeks a Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs as ordered by physicians.

This full-time role features 10-hour shifts, rotating after-hours and weekend standby, and includes a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 where applicable.

You'll work in a busy cardiac care setting, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure accurate imaging and patient-centered care. Training and credentialing support are provided.

Qualifications

• Education program completion or combination of education and experience.
• ARDMS or RCS certification required; BLS within 3 months of hire.
• Supervisory responsibilities: none.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Write routine reports and correspondence.
• Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Analyze and interpret scientific and technical journals.
• Respond to inquiries from customers, regulatory agencies, or business stakeholders.
• Calculate figures and apply algebra and geometry to problems.
