Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer I/II to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs as ordered by physicians. The role includes a full-time schedule with 10-hour shifts and rotating after-hours/weekend standby at St. James Hospital.

A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered for qualified applicants. Minimum qualifications include completion of an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS or equivalent certification, and BLS within 3 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education program through an accredited facility, or a combination of education and experience.
• RDMS Physics SPI Registry or equivalent (ARRT, CRGS, etc).
• BLS required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs as ordered by physicians.
• Full-time schedule: 40 hours with 10-hour shifts, rotating after-hours and weekend standby.
• Read, analyze, and interpret medical imaging and communicate findings.
