Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. seeks a cardiac sonographer to perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and transesophageal echocardiograms as ordered by physicians. A sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 is offered to support transition into the organization.

The role is full-time on-site at St. James Hospital with 40-hour weeks and 10-hour shifts, including after-hours and weekend standby. Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent experience, RDMS or RCS

Qualifications

• Completion of an education program through an accredited facility or a combination of education and experience.
• RDMS Physics SPI Registry or equivalent ARRT/CRGS/etc. registration required; BLS within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms, stress echoes, and TEEs as ordered by physicians.
• Demonstrate ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Communicate effectively with customers or employees and present information to top management or boards as needed.
