Job summary

Penn State Health St. Joseph Medical Center in Reading, PA is seeking a Cardiac Sonographer to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under supervision. The role requires ARDMS/CCI registration or proof of graduation, with BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Responsible to perform cardiac ultrasound studies under the supervision of a sonographer from a more senior category or a physician.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be ARDMS or CCI registered or proof of graduation from an applicable program. If registry eligible must be registered one (1) year after graduation date.
• Must obtain BLS certification within three (3) months from hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):

• Prior pediatric experience is preferred.
• Transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) experience preferred.
