Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Coordinator Scheduling in Newark, NJ to manage scheduling for Cardiac Non-Invasive procedures. The role requires verifying demographics, coordinating patient flow, and maintaining charts and test results within the Heart & Vascular Service Line.

You will work in a full-time, day shift, hourly position with pay range $17.00-$26.00 per hour. Proficiency in EPIC and Microsoft Office is important, along with a High School diploma and healthcare familiarity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year in medical office setting.
• Familiar with CPT, ICD10, H&P and labs procedures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the hospital system to schedule patients for Cardiac Non-Invasive procedures and verifies demographic data.
• Manages front office schedule according to staffing and resources.
• Coordinates patient throughput and ensures daily schedule is followed.
• Assists with organization of patient charts and distribution of test results.
• Maintains the department environment and performs other office duties as assigned.
