Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident to join the Cardiac Pavilion on a part-time basis, with 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm–7:30am).

You will deliver patient care using the nursing process, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and coordinate with other departments to ensure high-quality care consistent with Mercy Service Standards. RN licensure in the state or compact licensure is required, along with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience preferred but not required.
• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma or BSN).
• RN license in state or compact licensure and must meet state board requirements.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
