Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the Cardiac Pavilion. This part-time role covers 12-hour night shifts (7:00pm – 7:30am) with a 12-hour weekly schedule. You will provide patient care using the nursing process, coordinate with departments, and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience preferred, not required.
• Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must maintain current RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required or complete within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
