Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4H Cardiac Progressive Care unit. This part-time role supports patient-centered nursing care on a 12-hour night shift (7:00pm–7:30am).

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and an active RN license (MO or compact). BLS certification or completion within 30 days is expected, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk consistently.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in Missouri or compact state license.
• BLS certification or must complete within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: lift 50 pounds regularly and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluates care effectiveness provided by direct care team.
