Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or with compact licensure.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements: able to lift 50 pounds, stand and walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care and maintain accountability for assigned patients.
• Evaluate care effectiveness provided by other direct care givers and coordinate with other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality in accordance with Mercy standards.
