Job summary

Rochester Regional Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiovascular Unit at Unity Hospital. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care during night shifts, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support clinical ladder progression through ongoing education.

This role requires a Nursing Diploma/Associates, NY RN license, and BLS. RN Level II–IV ladders determine pay add-ons; experience and leadership help advance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse license in New York State.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides high-quality, patient-centered, clinical care.
• Performs initial and ongoing assessment of the patient, utilizing appropriate data.
• Communicates and documents assessment of patient with the interdisciplinary team.
• Develops and documents plan of care, treatment and services.
• Complies with organizational policies and protocols including safety, medication administration and documentation.
• Revises plan of care based on ongoing evaluations and updates documentation appropriately.
• Completes a clinical research utilization (CRU) form for Nursing Research Department.
• Completes a minimum of 5 nationally approved contact hours (CNE or CEU) per year.
• Completes mandatory in-services and health screens in timely manner.
• Maintains Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
