Job summary

Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a Cardiac Rehab Exercise Physiologist to provide patient-specific care within the Cardiac Rehab program.

You will assess risk factors, develop exercise prescriptions, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the continuum of care for patients with cardiovascular conditions. You will lead education initiatives, supervise exercise sessions, and ensure accurate documentation while maintaining patient confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field required.
• Experience with cardiovascular rehabilitation and exercise prescription.
• Knowledge of ACSM/AACVPR guidelines and telemetry monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Assess and address modifiable risk factors; develop goal-oriented care plans.
• Lead education in 1:1 or group settings; supervise warm-up and strength training.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure continuum of care and quality patient outcomes.
• Maintain documentation in EPIC and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
