Qualifications

• 1+ year of cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation experience preferred.
• ECG interpretation skills.
• Exercise prescription and patient monitoring experience.
• BS in exercise science or related field; emphasis in exercise physiology preferred; MS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized exercise programs for cardiac and pulmonary rehab patients.
• Monitor patients during exercise sessions, including vital signs and ECG.
• Modify exercise plans based on patient response and progress.
• Lead group exercise sessions, including warm-up and cool-down.
• Provide patient education on exercise, risk factors, and lifestyle changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Support safe, effective progression toward independent, home-based exercise routines.
