Job summary

Trinity Health MI is seeking a part-time Cardiac Stress Test Navigator to conduct exercise stress tests, assess patients, and provide education within our cardiac rehabilitation program.

Responsibilities include running stress tests, leading rehab classes, and recognizing emergencies, with travel to regional offices as needed and a day shift schedule. The role emphasizes patient education and adherence to clinical protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience in stress testing and cardiac rehab preferred.
• Proof of CEP certification through ACSM within 6 months of employment.
• Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, kinesiology, or related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
• Licensure: ACSM CEP or AACVPR certification required for Bachelor's degree candidates within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain rapport and cooperative relationships with patients and staff.
• Perform stress testing, ECGs, and monitor vitals per protocol.
• Lead cardiac rehabilitation classes and provide patient education.
• Respond to emergencies and perform CPR as needed.
