Job summary

University of New Hampshire seeks an experienced instructor to teach clinical exercise physiology within the Cardiac Rehab Practicum. You will oversee students as they develop skills to monitor and lead exercise programs for individuals with cardiovascular disease and risk factors.

The role includes assessing patients, interpreting responses, and ensuring safe progression. Responsibilities include supervising student clinicians, providing feedback on clinical performance, and managing the Canvas

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or other closely related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience providing exercise assessment, prescription, and supervision for individuals with cardiovascular disease and/or multiple chronic disease risk factors.
• Current BLS/CPR/AED certification.

Responsibilities

• Teach and oversee students in clinical settings.
• Provide instruction in clinical assessment, exercise prescription, monitoring, and interpretation of physiological responses to exercise.
• Supervise students during clinical interactions and exercise sessions.
• Manage Canvas course site, assignments, due dates, and grading.
