St. Luke's University Health Network in New Jersey is seeking a Clinical Exercise Physiologist to oversee cardiovascular rehabilitation, customize treatment plans, and educate patients on risk factor modification. The role includes evaluating new patients, monitoring progress, and documenting outcomes.

The position requires a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology or related field, ACSM CEP/RCEP/AACVPR certification, and BLS; ACLS is preferred. Day or evening shifts with department needs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field is required.
• ACSM CEP, RCEP, or AACVPR certification is preferred.
• AHA BLS certification is required.
• ECG rhythm recognition proficiency is required.
• ACLS certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides physician prescribed exercise and ensures adherence to the treatment plan.
• Tailors education and counseling on cardiovascular risk factors and lifestyle management.
• Conducts psychosocial assessment and documents progress.
• Develops and updates individualized treatment plans every 30 days with physician sign-off.
• Performs new patient evaluations including medical history, functional status and goals.
• Delivers patient-specific education on cardiovascular disease risk factor modification and ECG monitoring.
