Job summary

Mercy is hiring registered nurses to utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will maintain patient rights and confidentiality while coordinating care with multidisciplinary teams.

Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN; RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state; BLS required with 30-day certification. ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC or other unit certifications may be required.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an approved nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Maintain RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with course completion within 30 days if not already.
• Possess one or more certifications such as ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, or others as required by unit.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluates care effectiveness of direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
• Performs duties in line with Mercy mission and standards.
