Job summary

Mercy Hospital South in Missouri is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for the full-time night shift. The role focuses on delivering patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinating with other departments, and maintaining patient confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license and multiple certifications (ACLS, NRP, PALS, PEARS, ENPC, TNCC, OCN, CPHON, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM) and prefer BSN

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the state of practice (or eligible compact RN license).
• Ability to maintain all licensure requirements in accordance with state nursing board regulations.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
