Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Nursing Technician to support the Progressive Care Unit in St Joseph, MI. You will provide direct patient care under the RN, observe and report findings, and help maintain a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, patient-family communication, and participation in care planning. Part-time night shifts offer the chance to impact patients and families during critical hours.

Qualifications

• Basic patient care skills and observation.
• Accurate and timely documentation in charting and records.
• Clear communication with RN, providers and health team.

Responsibilities

• Collects and reports patients' physiological, psychological, sociocultural and spiritual needs in coordination with the RN; ensures documentation is accurate.
• Provides direct patient care under the RN or provider; contributes to the plan of care and maintains accurate records.
• Communicates nursing technician role to patients and families; supports safe, quality care.
• Cleans and maintains patient environment and equipment; reports malfunctions.
• Upholds privacy, confidentiality and ethical standards in patient care.
