Corewell Health's Lakeland Hospital St Joseph in Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit Cardiac A. The role focuses on caring for post CVL procedures, Cardiac, CHF, respiratory patients, and chest pain/observation cases, with a 4:1 day ratio and 5-6 at night.

The RN uses the nursing process to deliver patient-family centered care, plan and discharge, and collaborates with the Nurse Leader to follow policies, document education, and tailor plans of care to patient

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing or higher required.
• Bachelors in Nursing must be completed within 5 years of start date.
• Must be a Michigan Registered Nurse (RN).
• American Heart Association BLS within 90 days.
• ACLS within 1 year.
• NIH Stroke Certification (NIHSS) within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge.
• Deliver patient-family centered care under Nurse Leader guidance.
• Educate patients and families; document education in health records.
