Job summary

Mercy is seeking a SE Weekender Registered Nurse for Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. This part-time 24-hour/week role covers 12-hour night shifts on weekends in the Cardiac Progressive Care department.

Qualifications

• Experience: At least 1 year of nursing experience is required.
• Education: Graduate from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Must maintain RN license in hiring state/compact licensure.
• Certifications: BLS or course completion within 30 days of hire; other unit certifications as required.
• Physical requirements: Push/pull/lift 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking; reach, bend, kneel, twist, squat.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments; maintains patient rights and confidentiality.
