Job summary

Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO seeks a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the 4H Cardiac Progressive Care unit. The role is full-time (36 hours/week) with a 12-hour day shift (7:00am–7:30pm).

Eligible RNs can access sign-on incentives and bridging programs to advance from ASN/ADN to BSN and BSN to MSN. The position emphasizes patient-centered care, professional accountability, confidentiality, and collaboration with other departments to coordinate care and improve

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• BLS certification at time of hire (or within 30 days).
• Ability to push/pull/lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process with accountability for assigned patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Evaluate the overall effectiveness of care provided by direct care givers.
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00am–7:30pm) for Mercy Hospital Southeast, Cape Girardeau, MO.
