Job summary

Mercy is seeking a SE Weekender Registered Nurse for Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. This part-time, 24-hours-per-week role supports the Cardiac Pavilion with 12-hour night shifts on weekends.

Qualified candidates will have at least 1 year of nursing experience, an RN license, and BLS credentials. Mercy offers sign-on bonuses and bridging programs from ASN/BSN to MSN to support education goals.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of nursing experience required.
• RN license must be current in hiring state/compact.
• BLS certification required or within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintain professional accountability for patient care provided to assigned patients.
• Evaluate care effectiveness of other direct care givers.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments.
