Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a program leader for the Cardiac Service Line to collaborate with center leadership to ensure high-quality cardiac services. You will drive program development and pursue national recognition or certifications while aligning with fiscal and strategic plans.

The role emphasizes patient and family education, coordination of operations, and adherence to budgetary and policy requirements within the cardiac programs.

Qualifications

• Education: Knowledge of cardiovascular clinical specialty through either: Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R).
• Experience: 3-5 years progressively more responsible related work experience in cardiac procedures, policies, and practices.
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing; 3-5 years CVICU/CCU/Cardiac Cath Lab experience; Performance Improvement Training.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cardiac and medical center leadership to ensure high-quality services across programs within the Cardiac Service Line.
• Seek national program recognition and/or certification through development and application processes.
• Fulfill patient and family education needs as related to program plans; align with fiscal and strategic plans.
