Job summary

Medtronic is seeking a Product Development Program Manager to lead complex CRM Energy Components projects, driving execution and aligning initiatives with portfolio goals. The role is based in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, with an onsite work model requiring four days per week in the office and travel under 10%.

You will develop integrated project plans, manage budgets/resources, and lead cross-functional teams to meet milestones, quality objectives, and business commitments within the CRM

Qualifications

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Alternative: advanced degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional product development programs from initiation through closure.
• Develop, maintain, and execute integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, resource strategies, and risk mitigation plans across related projects.
• Provide leadership to cross-functional teams to achieve program milestones, deliverables, quality objectives, and business commitments.
• Monitor program performance, assess risks, track progress against objectives, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful execution within scope, schedule, and budget targets.
• Establish alignment among stakeholders across R&D, Operations, Technology, Supply Management, Quality, and Reliability functions.
• Plan, monitor, and control project budgets, covering resources, materials, and capital to achieve ROI.
• Drive continuous improvement by developing program management best practices and PDP standards.
• Prioritize and evaluate strategic project opportunities that support the CRM Energy Components portfolio.
• Provide feedback to functional department heads during the AOP/strategic planning process.
