Job summary

Sanford Health in Fargo, ND is seeking a qualified perfusionist to perform extracorporeal circulation using heart-lung machines during cardiac surgeries and to support surgical teams. You will monitor physiologic parameters and manage related equipment to ensure patient safety.

Responsibilities include operating perfusion devices, adhering to standards, and communicating with patients and the care team. On-call rotations are required, with a focus on delivering high-quality cardiovascular

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited perfusion program required.
• Board eligible for certification or certified by the ABCP with recertification within one year of hire preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform extra-corporeal circulation during cardiac surgeries with heart-lung machines.
• Operate perfusion equipment and monitor physiologic parameters.
• Ensure safety and quality by adhering to standards and documenting procedures.
• Provide perfusion services including HIPEC/ECMO setup and troubleshooting as needed.
