Shift: 5x8 Days (Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts)

Compensation: $7,000/week (travel & housing included)

Position Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Perfusionist for a 6-month contract assignment in Fargo, ND. As a key member of the cardiac surgical team, the perfusionist will operate extracorporeal circulation equipment during procedures where it is necessary to support or temporarily replace the patient’s circulatory or respiratory function.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heart-lung machines and other advanced perfusion equipment during cardiopulmonary bypass procedures.
Monitor patient vitals and perfusion parameters intraoperatively, making real-time adjustments to optimize patient outcomes.
Maintain equipment and ensure all machinery complies with hospital safety and performance standards.
Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR personnel.
Assist in procedures involving ECMO, VADs, and other mechanical circulatory support systems, if applicable.
Document perfusion-related activities and patient data in medical records per institutional policies.

Requirements:

Certification: American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).
Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for North Dakota state licensure.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical perfusion experience preferred.
Skills: Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
