Job summary

The Brigham and Women's Hospital, Inc. is seeking an experienced Perfusionist to independently manage CPB during complex cardiac procedures.

You will work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize patient outcomes and support a range of surgeries from CABG to valve repairs and transplants. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Health Science required.
• Certified Perfusionist license required.
• 2-3 years post-training CPB experience in adult cardiac surgery preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently operate CPB during complex cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to optimize outcomes.
• Monitor and optimize VAD performance and ECMO/LVAD management.
• Perform VV bypass and shunting to support hemodynamics.
• Operate extracorporeal clot-removal systems (AngioVac) as needed.
