Job summary

Mercy is seeking a perfusionist to assist physicians in cardiovascular and related surgeries, reporting to the Manager-Perfusion Services. The role requires licensure as an LCP, CCP certification, and a Bachelor's degree. New graduates are welcome; some experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Licensed Clinical Perfusionist (LCP) license required in the practicing state.
• Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) required; ABCP cert or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of clinical perfusion skills and equipment.
• Ensures cohesive, uninterrupted workflow in perfusion services.
• Participates in day-to-day clinical and on-call duties.
• Encourages continuing education and departmental innovation.
• Fosters communication, coordination and teamwork in surgical and ICU suites.
