Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited cardiopulmonary perfusion program with a master's or bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree preferred.
• Connecticut State Perfusion License/ABCP certification preferred or must obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for cardiac and non-cardiac procedures.
• Assesses patient status and calculates perfusion requirements (blood flow, CI, etc.).
• Conducts perfusion techniques and monitors procedures and patient status.
• Maintains CCP status through meetings and publications; stays current with perfusion tech.
