Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited cardiovascular perfusion training program.
• Bachelor's degree in Perfusion Technology, Life Science, or Allied Health Specialty.
• Certification as a Certified Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) from an accredited program.
• Two years of inpatient hospital experience as an RN with specialty experience.
• Must have current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Manage Cardiopulmonary Bypass (CPB) during surgeries.
• Assist the Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) team.
• Prepare and troubleshoot technical equipment during procedures.
• Document patient and equipment data accurately.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow departmental policies.
