Job summary

BayCare Health System’s St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tampa, FL seeks a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Medical PCU. You will deliver patient-centered care for cardiac patients, coordinate with the care team, and mentor junior staff as needed.

The role requires strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and interpersonal communication. Day shifts, full-time with rotating weekends, and a supportive clinical environment are offered.

Qualifications

• BLS Certification is required
• RN license is required
• ACLS, NIHSS, PCCN certifications are preferred
• Associates degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
• 2 years RN experience required

Responsibilities

• Independently caring for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other health care team members
• Professional accountability and development
• Serving as preceptor and charge nurse when assigned
