Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking an RN – Cardiac for the Cardiac PCU at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, FL. The role involves independently caring for congestive heart failure patients and delegating care to the healthcare team.

The position is full-time with a day shift (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM), every other weekend, and no on-call requirement. Requires 6 months RN experience and state licensure with BLS; ACLS/NIHSS/PCCN preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license is required (state of Florida)
• BLS Certification is required
• 6 months of RN experience is required
• ACLS, NIHSS, PCCN certifications are preferred

Responsibilities

• Independently care for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards

BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Cardiac team at St. Joseph’s Hospital. As part of the community since 1934, St. Joseph’s Hospital has been a partner for continued health and wellness.

The unit is a cardiac PCU unit for congestive heart failure patients.

The RN responsibilities include:

• Independently caring for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards.
• Delegating appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.
• Professional accountability and development.
• Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.
