Job summary

HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Cardiac Step Down/Progressive Care (PCU) RN. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers, focusing on pre- and post-operative cardiac patients.

Role includes 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM) with rotating weekends/holidays, and opportunities to pursue MSNCB/FailSafe CMSRN certification with monetary incentives.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or higher).
• Current RN license in the state or compact license.
• BLS Health Care Provider required; ACLS required or obtainable within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift; report changes.
• Perform procedures as ordered by provider and document care in chart.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care equipment and procedures.
