Job summary

HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the cardiac and medical-surgical unit. You will coordinate with medical providers for pre- and post-operative care and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

The role requires RN licensure, a Bachelor’s or RN Diploma, or an Associate Degree, with ACLS and BLS within required timeframes.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure required (Registered Nurse).
• Bachelor's Degree, RN Diploma, or Associate Degree required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Document administration of care in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
