Job summary

HCA Florida Trinity Hospital seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver patient-centered care in the PCU. In collaboration with medical teams, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and acts as a patient advocate to support an exceptional experience.

The RN will assess patient status, document care thoroughly, administer medications, and monitor responses while staying current with cardiac and surgical procedures and equipment.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BLS timely completion after start date
• RN license required
• Stroke scale certification within 90 days of employment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality patient-centered care
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
• Document care in patient records accurately
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical care equipment
