HCA Florida Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville is seeking a Cardiac Step Down/PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care for pre- and post-operative patients. You will advocate for patients and support their experience within a collaborative team environment.

The RN will assess and document patient status, perform provider-directed procedures, administer medications, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of cardiac care.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing: ADN or higher
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the practicing state
• Current BLS certification required
• Current ACLS certification required or within 30 days of hire
• Minimum 6 months RN experience in clinical setting

Responsabilités

• Assess patient condition at admission and each shift, report changes
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the provider
• Document care in the patient record in a timely manner
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients

Formation

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher

RN licensure (state of practice)

BLS Health Care Provider

ACLS Health Care Provider

Minimum 6 months RN experience
