Job summary

Florida Medical Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Acute Care in the Cardiac PCU at FMCOH Wiregrass Ranch Hospital in Wesley Chapel, Florida. This role covers day shifts with a 3–12 schedule and supports care in a high-acuity unit dedicated to cardiac patients.

The ideal candidate will be a graduate of an approved nursing program, hold a Florida RN license, and possess BLS certification; ACLS/NRP/PALS/TNCC are required for certain areas, with at least 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
• Maintains current State of Florida RN license.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
• Minimum 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provides care for patients with complex illness or injury requiring high-intensity nursing care.
• Monitors patient condition and supports rapid decision-making.
• Documents care in the medical record and ensures patient safety.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team to plan and manage patient care.
• Acts as patient advocate and supports department goals.
