Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse Resident for the Cardiac Pavilion at Mercy Hospital Southeast in Cape Girardeau, MO. This full-time role (36 hours/week) features 12-hour day shifts and competitive sign-on incentives for new and experienced RNs.

Requirements include RN licensure in the hiring state or compact licensure, graduation from a nursing program, BLS certification, and ability to meet physical demands. Mercy offers comprehensive benefits and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association or within 30 days of hire.
• Physical requirements include lifting 50 pounds, standing and walking long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
